I have been a professional body piercer for 17 years. I started my career in El Cajon, California (San Diego) at the age of 16. I started as part time until after I graduated High School. My hopes and aspirations of going to college on a football scholarship fell through and I became full time at the age of 18. I helped turn that first studio (Tenacious Ink) from a hole in the wall studio, to the top destination for tattooing and body piercing in all of San Diego County in 2007. I did this by clearing out the problem employees and seeking out quality tattoo artists who shared the same goals and aspirations I did, to be the best at what we did while maintaining an engaging, informative, inclusive, and fun atmosphere for both clientele and artists. After 8 years in San Diego I moved to Scranton, Pennsylvania to help my mother. I worked at Art Rage Tattoo for 3 years. During this time I had to build the body piercing business from nothing to something. I was named Best Piercer in Scranton for the year of 2013. In 2015 I took a job offer in Blacksburg, Virginia at Danny’s Ancient Art Tattoo and Body Piercing where I worked for 5 years. Now I own and operate Adornment Body Piercing Studio in Blacksburg, Virginia where I plan to stay and be a part of the Blacksburg community until I retire.
